2025 Smart City Summit & Expo (SCSE)
The ‘2025 Smart City Summit and Expo (SCSE),’ now in its 11th edition, is set to be held in Taipei City from March 17th to March 21st, 2025. This prestigious event will gather mayors and city leaders from 32 countries worldwide, alongside top executives representing various leading enterprises, with an expected attendance of over 2,500 overseas participants.
As the largest hybrid smart city trade show in Asia, organized by the Taipei City Government, Kaohsiung City Government, Taiwan Smart City Solutions Alliance, and Taipei Computer Association, SCSE has contributed to the advancement of smart city initiatives globally over the past decade.
Vision Thai, as one of the event’s Global Partners, is responsible for executing tasks in Thailand. They will accompany 30 leaders from Thailand’s foremost companies specializing in smart cities and smart healthcare. CEOs and senior executives will be among the attendees, fostering crucial partnerships and exchanges to propel Thailand’s smart city agenda forward.
Key Features
There are a total of 600 exhibitors using 2,200 booths in the two exhibition areas in Taipei and Kaohsiung, marking a 13% growth in exhibition size compared to last year.
This year, there are 495 municipal VIPs from 46 countries and regions and 112 cities globally, including approximately 85 mayors and deputy mayors, as well as 1,697 international professional buyers. In total, there are 2,192 international VIPs and buyers attending the exhibition, setting historical records in terms of the number of countries, cities, VIPs, and international buyers participating.
Among the foreign visitors this year, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam constitute the largest delegations, indicating that the New Southbound countries are currently the regions with the closest economic ties to Taiwan’s development.
Six mayors from Germany are attending the exhibition, marking a significant breakthrough for the Smart City Expo.
Overseas visitors include city leaders, municipal officials, telecom operators, system integrators, solution providers, and experts or association members from various fields such as healthcare, transportation, construction, energy, manufacturing, etc.
The 4F of Nangang Exhibition Hall 2 in Taipei will mainly showcase government policies and initiatives for net-zero emissions, demonstrating the policies of all government ministries promoting national and industrial green transformation.
The 1F of Nangang Exhibition Hall 2 in Taipei will focus on smart cities, smart transportation, smart buildings, smart disaster prevention, smart education, 5G network applications, and AI solutions applied in various industries.
The Kaohsiung Exhibition Center will primarily showcase smart healthcare, smart cities, 5G network applications, and innovative solutions for city net-zero emissions.

About Vision Thai
